How to Restart Windows Server

Step 1:- Open Your Server/ Virtual Machine by putting credentials.

Step 2:- Open Task Schedular in Windows and click on Create Basic Task

Step 3:- Provide any Particular Name to your task and click on next.

Step 4:- Select Appropriate option on when you want to reboot your system and click on next.

Step 5:- Select Specific Time when you want to schedule a restart and click on next.

Step 6:- In Action menu click on Start a program radio button and click next.

Step 7:- Put the Credentials as below in script and Add parameter box respectively and click on next.

Credentials to put are as follows:-

Script:- %SystemRoot%\system32\shutdown.exe
Add Argument:- -r -f -t 10

Step 8:- Verify the details and click on Finish

Step 9:- Wohho You have successfully restarted the VM once this screen appears.
